Retro aficionados now can get Farming Simulator on a real 16-Bit cartridge.

Working with our friends at Strictly Limited, this unique retro adaptation of Farming Simulator will be available as Limited Edition, launching on May 14, 2025, and a Deluxe Edition, arriving in July 2025. Both editions will be available exclusively through the Strictly Limited Store.

Each limited edition includes an exclusive green cartridge, produced in a total quantity of only 1,000 units worldwide - a rare opportunity for retro gaming enthusiasts and fans of the Farming Simulator series.

In addition to the Strictly Limited store exclusive editions, a separate black cartridge version will be available through select retail partners such as Amazon for the global market and VideoGamesPlus in North America.

NEXAT & Cutting-Edge Tech in Farming Simulator 25

One of the most advanced agricultural machines gets introduced to the Farming Simulator franchise: the NEXAT system. Partnering with the pioneering manufacturer of the same name, the NEXAT Pack (Release Date: March 11th, 2025) marks the first official content pack for Farming Simulator 25.

All-in-one revolution of field operations

NEXAT, an acronym for Next Generation Agriculture Technology, is the world's first integrated crop production system. The system, developed by the German manufacturer, is based on a strong, versatile carrier vehicle with a remarkably large working width.

It handles all arable tasks from tillage, sowing, planting, fertilizing, crop protection and harvesting by allowing farmers to integrate interchangeable modules into a carrier. Designed to reduce the total number of machines needed, the all-in-one machine makes crop production easier, faster, more efficient and more sustainable.

Welcoming DAMMANN, Evers Agro & Wienhoff

The NEXAT Pack includes seven brands and 12 machines to offer a wide range of possibilities and a well-balanced selection. Farming Simulator 25 Hits 3 Million Copies Sold

"This Farm Is Your Farm", the claim and promise of Farming Simulator 25, seems to resonate: Just three months after launch, Farming Simulator 25 has sold over three million copies, reinforcing its status as a fan-favorite and genre-leader.

Overall, 40 million copies have been sold across the main series. Alongside the milestones for the series, GIANTS Software celebrates its growing community with an Accolades Trailer and an outlook on upcoming game updates.

Accolades: Celebrating the Community
The newly released Accolades Trailer highlights praise from both dedicated content creators and press, showcasing why millions find joy in virtual farming. "Three million virtual farmers already - incredible!" says Boris Stefan, CSO & Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software.

Exciting Content Updates Ahead
Looking ahead, players can expect continuous improvements and free content updates. This includes the return of Precision Farming, an original EU-funded project initiated by John Deere in cooperation with GIANTS Software and educational institutions and others to raise awareness of smart farming technology.

Remastered fan-favorite maps, new packs and expansions are also in the works, while developers are testing user-created mods to offer on the official in-game ModHub and preparing for the annual FarmCon fan convention, scheduled for July 5th and 6th.

Tilling the fields, maintaining machines, or growing plants in the greenhouse, Farming Simulator VR lets players get up close and personal with farming.

Scheduled for release on 28 February on the Meta Store, the latest stand-alone member in the popular Farming Simulator franchise will add a whole new dimension to the experience of virtual farming.

Farming Simulator VR places virtual farmers right in the heart of the agricultural action: From driving big machines across the fields to sow, cultivate and harvest, repairing and maintaining machines, to planting, watering, and hand-picking plants in the greenhouse. Using the powerwasher to do away with dust and dirt adds some additional satisfaction.

Overall,more than 50 different farm related activities give VR pros and casual gamers the opportunity to enjoy life on the farm, and they operate 15 authentic, highly detailed vehicles and tools from real-world manufacturers like Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere and others.

FarmCon 25 at Lindner, Austria

Date and location of FarmCon 25 are set: The annual fan convention is set to take place at the Lindner Innovation Center in Kundl, Austria. Tickets are now available at Eventbrite for the weekend of the 5th and 6th of July 2025.

The makers of the Unitrac and Lintrac series of vehicles are providing the venue for FarmCon 25. Players, modders, influencers and partners come together to celebrate their love for the game, and to meet old as well as new friends and like-minded farmers.

Various talks and presentations about the latest developments around the Farming Simulator series of games are planned in addition to content creator meet-ups, test-driving Lindner’s latest products, a guided factory tour, and much more.

Record breaking week one sales numbers

November 12th, 2024

Released on November 12th, the latest member in the long-running Farming Simulator family reached new heights in just the first week.

Peaking at 125,000+ players active simultaneously on Steam alone on launch day – in addition to many more on other platforms and not playing at the same time – this was the most successful launch for GIANTS Software so far.

Outperforming not only its predecessors, the current entry in the series also reached the highest rankings in several charts. During the first weekend, the number of concurrent Steam players surpassed 135,000 active users.

In total, the series has now sold more than 40 million copies on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox – but all that is just the beginning.

We are already working on free content updates, patches, packs and expansion, which will keep adding more machines, features, and fun to the game. The already available Year 1 Season Pass, for example, includes three official packs and a major expansion that will be released over the course of 2025.

In addition to that, our modding community is already coming up with awesome user-made creations that will keep the game fresh and interesting..

This Farm is Your Farm – Farming Simulator 25 launched

More variety, opportunities, and challenges – that’s Farming Simulator 25. Arriving with 400+ machines and tools, new crop types, animals, maps, and vibrant environments, the latest member of the successful series has launched.

Whether focusing on arable farming, animal husbandry, or forestry, Farming Simulator 25 gives players the chance to create the farm of their dreams. Experienced players will find a host of new gameplay elements, while everyone, including new players, enjoy a relaxing, immersive, and community-oriented experience.

Virtual farmers choose from three environments in North America, Europe, and East Asia, 25 field crops, plus many greenhouse crops and trees, as well as several types of animals. The game also offers more complex and varied production chains, challenges like weather events, and more than 400 authentic machines from over 150 international top brands like Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, and Valtra.

With the announcement at gamescom that sim-racing studio Straight4 is using GIANTS Engine for their upcoming title Project Motor Racing, GIANTS Software again confirm their leading position as simulation game experts.

Dynamic physics simulation, high-resolution graphics rendering, multi-platform support, cross-play multiplayer, easy moddability: GIANTS’ inhouse developed engine offers state-of-the-art performance for simulation game creators.

The GIANTS Engine
Looking back at GIANT Software’s beginnings, long before the first Farming Simulator was released, our founders set out to create an 3D open-world simulation engine. Now, almost 20 years later, GIANTS Engine has become the probably most sophisticated framework for simulation game projects to-date.

Specialized in high-quality vehicle and physics simulation, the flexibility and accessibility GIANTS Engine offers to developers, has convinced Straight4 Studios to use it as foundation for their upcoming title Project Motor Racing.

From fields to racing tracks
Collaborating since 2023, the technological partnership with Straight4 Studios has had an enormously positive impact on the refinement of the underlying engine systems. Presenting Farming Simulator live at gamescom

The biggest games fair on earth will become the first public stage for Farming Simulator 25. Between August 21st and 25th, interested gamers will have the chance to try out the latest member of the Farming Simulator family.

After the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received on the new features of Farming Simulator 25 at FarmCon, we are excitedly looking forward to this year’s gamescom in Cologne. For the first time ever, fans and friends will be able to get hand-on experience with the game, enjoy the exciting stage-shows, or participate in the ever-popular Bale Stacking Challenge.

While hall 6 will host the public side of things, our esteemed friends and partners are invited to join us for a chat or more in the business area in hall 4.2 B-032. We will be joined by Straight4’s Ian Bell's team to talk about the recently announced publishing deal for Project Motor Racing.

GIANTS Software signs publishing deal with sim racing expert Straight4 Studios. Established publisher and independent developer studio GIANTS Software will publish sim racing title Project Motor Racing.

Taking the next ground-breaking step in our company’s ongoing expansion as leading developers and publishers in the simulation genre, we are proud to announce our publishing partnership with the sim racing experts of Straight4 Studios.

Composed of award-winning developers around sim racing’s iconic Ian Bell, Straigh4 has decades of expertise, creating some of the most beloved and significant titles of the genre. Celebrating Community: FarmCon 24 Breaking Records Again

Thousands of fans, tons of details about Farming Simulator 25, and a tightly packed program of exciting activities - that was FarmCon 24 at the Fendt Forum in Marktoberdorf, Germany.

Every year, GIANTS Software invites fans and friends of Farming Simulator to the annual community meet-up. This year, our partners at Fendt opened their doors for us, allowing us to invite around 3,500 people to learn about the upcoming Farming Simulator 25.

News, Updates, and Roaring Applause
On stage, we welcomed speakers from the dev team who introduced a selection of latest updates for Farming Simulator 25. The first speaker, CSO and Head of Publishing Boris Stefan, summarized the last three years of Farming Simulator 22 and all the great content the team has produced before giving the audience a comprehensive peek at the things that are to come.

Next up, CTO Stefan Geiger went into many details of the updated GIANTS game engine. From graphical improvements to ground deformation, the new features made a big impact on the crowd. Following up, Senior Level Designer Florian Busse took the viewers on a long, captivating walk across the new US-themed map Riverbend Springs.

Lead Integrator Stefan Maurus gave an overview of the new machines and the improvements our players can expect in Farming Simulator 25.

The many details about the new game certainly impressed the audience. Their feedback and questions during the Q&A session were inspiring and showed that we are on the right track for November.

The final presentation of the day, “On the field with Fendt,” by Nils Christoph Gerth, Fabian Kraft, and Hans-Peter Loewel from Fendt, talked about the history and future direction of Fendt. They contrasted digital and real agriculture, and showed off the wide variety of products and applications Fendt covers today.

Competitive Gaming
We were especially grateful for the numerous streamers and content creators who came from all over the world. They got a chance to chat with the devs in private and gain valuable insights from behind the scenes. In turn, they had to compete against several members of the audience in an on-stage Bale Stacking Challenge, playing for valuable prizes.

Following this, the Farming Simulator League played the final rounds of this season’s World Championship. With the first matches being played on Friday, the last eight teams fought hard to make it to the semi-finals. In the end Team HELM bested mYinsanity, winning the title of World Champion.

Modding Sunday
The main topic of Sunday’s talks was modding. Manuel Leithner, Stefan Maurus, Marcel Renke, and Stefan Geiger discussed the big changes in the updated GIANTS Engine that will affect modders. Talking the audience through the finer details, modders had a chance to get a good look at what modifications they will need to make and what to expect from the updated GIANTS Editor and tools.

There Was Much More
FarmCon would not be the exciting event it is without the help of our partners and the “supporting cast.” Rounding off the experience, Fendt had organized a company tour and a tractor driving course, while a number of food trucks took care of our visitors’ well-being.

All in all, the event was a fantastic success. The feedback from our guests was exceptionally positive, and everyone is already looking forward to next year’s event.

Farming Simulator 25 announced! Pre-order started

The Hype Train is picking up speed! Farming Simulator 25 the newest installment in the internationally acclaimed Farming Simulator series of games has been announced. Release is scheduled for November 12th, 2024.

Expanding Horizons – new landscapes and features
Releasing the cinematic trailer, GIANTS Software takes the viewers to the beautiful landscapes of East Asia. Inspired by the picturesque rice paddies, our traveling protagonists Sophia and Jacob take on the task to grow rice back on their farm in North-America.

With the trailer, GIANTS Software already discloses the first new features of Farming Simulator 25: introducing not only rice as a new crop type, but also a new Asian-themed map complete with water buffaloes.

Scheduled for FarmCon 24 on the weekend of July the 6th and 7th, GIANTS will present more details of the game, the various game editions, and the technological upgrades made to the GIANTS engine to enable an even more immersive gameplay experience.

Technology and story-telling
The Farming Simulator 25 cinematic trailer was once again conceived and produced by award-winning Capsule Studios in Paris with the help of Robyn Wulf acting as Sophia (who returns with the likeness of actress Anaïs Parello, and Dominic Gould as Jacob. Fully motion-captured, the CGI team at Capsule has transported our heroes into a completely new setting, revealing some of the upcoming features Farming Simulator 25 will bring to the farm.

Here in Dubrovnik, Croatia, directly on the Mediterranean coast, the 9th edition of the conference will feature talks from 155+ leading gaming experts - including GIANTS Software’s Community Lead.

Farming Simulator League plays at CAGGTUS

Esport-fans, save the date: The weekend after Easter will be exciting. After a successful premiere in 2023, the Farming Simulator League is back at the CAGGTUS in Leipzig. Playing live on stage, the teams compete for valuable points on their way to the finals.

Season 5 of the Farming Simulator League has been a wild ride so far. With six games played and two more to go before the championships at FarmCon, there is plenty of room for movement in the top ten.

To determine who will participate in the FSL World Championship and win the grand prize, this is the penultimate challenge at the CAGGTUS Gaming Festival in Leipzig, Germany. Between April 5 and 7 gaming enthusiasts, streamers, cosplayers and everyone interested in games and geek culture is invited to meet fellow minded people.
GIANTS at GDC 2024: Talking about Vehicle Integration and Esports into Farming Simulator

Amongst several things, two aspects of Farming Simulator have always made a big impact: the highly detailed machines in the game and the Farming Simulator League esports integration. This is why we are excited to announce that we are giving two talks at GDC 2024.

Being the probably most prestigious conference, the
Games Developer Conference in San Francisco is the place to be for games developers from across the globe. From March 18 to 22, lectures, talks, panels and roundtable discussions covering a wide range of topics, GDC educates and inspires programmers, artists, designers, and many more, bringing together industry experts from all fields.

This year, GIANTS Software contributes to the program with two talks.

Community Lead Lars Malcharek will talk about the integration of esports into Farming Simulator with his presentation Elevating Development: Embracing Esports for Small to Medium-Sized Studios. Lars will be giving an insight into the challenges and chances for developers and partners that organizing an esports league brings.

The second talk by Stefan Maurus, Gameplay Programmer & Lead Integrator, discusses the Farming Simulator Vehicle Integration Pipeline and how complex machines are added to the game. Stefan’s focus lies on the technical aspects of bringing real, highly detailed machines to life in Farming Simulator and how to make all of this accessible to modders.

Between sessions, the GIANTS team will be available for networking at the Moscone Center, booth P1857.

Record numbers across the board

Six millions copies sold worldwide. 5,600 mods created and 3.2 billion downloads from ModHub. These are mind-blowing numbers.

Farming Simulator continues to be a success story for GIANTS Software. The latest entry in the series, Farming Simulator 22, has sold more than six million copies – from the original base game to the Platinum Edition & Premium Edition since its release in November 2021.

One of the contributing factors to this success is the strong modding community: More than 5,600 officially tested and approved mods were published for Farming Simulator 22 by our QA team - 80% of which are available on PCs and consoles!

With more than 1.4 billion downloads, the mods for Farming Simulator 22 make up for almost 50% of all mod downloads since the introduction of the official in-game ModHub.

On top of this, we counted a staggering 100,000 dedicated servers running Farming Simulator in multiplayer mode simultaneously!

On the weekend of July 6th & 7th, 2024 visitors can expect presentations about game development, interactive panels with Q&A sessions, news about upcoming projects, and some exciting surprises.

This year, FarmCon 24 will take place in Marktoberdorf (Germany), home of the internationally renowned manufacturer of tractors and agricultural equipment Fendt, at their Forum.

Expanding the Brand with Farming Simulator Kids

GIANTS Software’s upcoming new game expands the Farming Simulator universe. Supported by John Deere, Farming Simulator Kids is set to create inspiring moments, engaging young children to learn about agriculture and the importance of farming and food production.

With its cute aesthetics, a child-friendly environment and many characters, places, and activities to discover, Farming Simulator Kids offers many hours of fun to the youngest players from pre-school and beyond.

Supported by John Deere, players will be able to use the iconic green-and-yellow farming machines like tractors and harvesters to discover the colorful environment.

Agritechnica – Home of Farming Pioneers

Laying the foundations for the future of agriculture today, is the aim of Agritechnica, the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery. Focusing on precision farming, sustainability, environmental protection and automation, the 2,500 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest innovations and solutions. Supporting the show, Farming Simulator will take the stage and play the closing Farming Simulator League’s offline tournament of the year.

Organized by the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG), every two years the leading agricultural trade show Agritechnica attracts more than 450,000 visitors. Its main goal is to bring together experts, farmers and the general public and to promote dialogue across disciplines to develop future-proof solutions for farming, food-production and other agriculture related sectors.

Between November 12th and 18th, 2023, GIANTS Software will be presenting the Farming Simulator 22 Premium Edition and reveal news about upcoming projects.

Also, from Sunday to Thursday, our guests will have the opportunity to prove themselves as the masters of virtual bale stacking.

On Friday and Saturday, you have the chance to watch the last FSL offline tournament of the year live at the show.
Farming Simulator League comes to the UK

October 13th, 2023

Responding to our community requests to come to the UK to present Farming Simulator live, the FSL convoy finally crosses the English Channel.

Nested firmly in the West Midlands, Birmingham, the “City of a Thousand Trades”, is the home of the UK’s leading agricultural event LAMMA. There, at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) the Farming Simulator League will be playing its first ever tournament in the UK.

Expecting about 600 exhibitors and 35,000 visitors, this year’s LAMMA (powered by Farmers Guardian) will be taking place on January 17th and 18th, 2024.

Not only have we invited the best FSL teams to play live on stage, but will also provide several gaming stations for visitors to get a hands-on experience with the latest Farming Simulator.

Fans of the FSL will have the chance to follow the matches online, as they will be streamed on the official GIANTS channels by English and German speaking casters.
What happens in Vegas? TwitchCon!

Streamers, fans, gamers, geeks, developers – the place where everything comes together is TwitchCon. The next event for meeting the huge Twitch community will be in Las Vegas from 20-22 October 2023 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Supporting Science Education

The “Long Night of Sciences” (“Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften”) is a national initiative “to make research more accessible and create an educational community event”, as the local organizers point out. Last year, more than 200,000 people visited over 150 events at universities, institutions, and companies focusing on research in Nuremberg, Fürth, and Erlangen.

As part of the applied computer sciences track, that Saturday from 5pm to midnight, we demonstrate how real machines make their way into Farming Simulator from 3D scanning, to sound digitization and programming.

Our guests will have the opportunity to learn about GIANTS Software, the gaming industry, and experience Farming Simulator and the Bale Stacking Challenge on site.

“Your adventure starts here” is the new slogan of Switzerland’s biggest event for gaming, esports, cosplay, and more. Inviting Swiss and international fans to celebrate games, anime and fantasy culture.

After a hugely successful 2022 with more than 20,000 visitors, HeroFest is growing. More than 150 exhibitors will be offering a wide array of activities for geeks, cosplayers, and gamers alike - from art to esports, cosplay to virtual reality.

GIANTS Software is sponsoring the Indie Game Dev Area, where visitors can try out games by Swiss indie developers.

The HeroFest will be held at the BERNEXPO between October 13th and 15th, 2023, in Bern.

The community-centric gaming-culture experience will be at the Seattle Convention Center in downtown Seattle (WA) from September 1st to 4th.

Our team has set up camp at the Expo Hall booth 856, where guest are invited to meet the community team and other Farming Simulator fans, chat and try out the upcoming Premium Edition of Farming Simulator 22.

At PAX West, visitors will find every type of gaming related activity across a broad number of areas – from workshops to meetups, gaming marathons to tabletop and trading cards.
gamescom 2023: World Premieres and Esports

"More content, more stations, more fun" – that's the motto driving GIANTS Software's gamescom plans. With an impressive showcase of Farming Simulator 22's extensive content collection, multiple gaming stations for hands-on gameplay, and the electrifying Farming Simulator League, this year's gamescom promises entertainment for both avid fans and casual visitors.

But that's not all! Visitors will also have the chance to participate in the live Balestacking Challenge and get a taste of the latest mobile version of Farming Simulator, Farming Simulator 23, available on iOS and Android devices, as well as the Nintendo Switch.

FarmCon 23: Record-breaking visitor numbers

Product presentations, meet-and-greets with major international YouTubers, FSL kick-off, real-life tractor test-driving... this FarmCon was packed with exciting, engaging and entertaining activities: FarmCon 23 was a huge success.

On Saturday and Sunday, the 1st and 2nd of July 2023, FarmCon 23, the highly anticipated annual FarmCon, was held at the DEUTZ-FAHR Arena with a captivating program. A record-breaking 1300 guests enjoyed exciting activities, insightful lectures, and exclusive announcements.

On Stage

Starting the day’s program, GIANTS Software’s founders Christian Ammann and Stefan Geiger provided a nostalgic retrospective into the game's growth and success, celebrating Farming Simulator’s 15-year journey and impact on the gaming industry.

Next up, attendees received thrilling announcements about upcoming products, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter of the beloved farming simulation franchise.

FarmCon 23 also provided a platform for modders to delve into the intricacies of modding, with talks by lead integrator Stefan Maurus and lead gameplay programmer Manuel Leithner.

On Sunday, the Farming Simulator League tournament showcased the skills and strategies of competing teams, thrilling spectators with their virtual farming prowess.

Outside the stage program, a series of community meet-and-greets brought together influential figures from the gaming community, allowing visitors to interact with popular content creators from Europe, the US, and even New Zealand.

Farming Simulator League Season 5 Kick-Off

Exciting news for agriculture enthusiasts and esports fans alike: Farming Simulator League Season 5 is about to start! After its first run in 2019, and now entering its fifth season, the Farming Simulator League has proven that farming and esports are a perfect match.

Working closely with many of the biggest names in the agricultural industry, GIANTS Software has created a gaming universe that is well-known in both the agricultural sphere and gaming culture. With the addition of the Arena Mode to the game, Farming Simulator 22 reaches another important milestone. It creates an environment where console and PC players can compete in intense head-to-head matches on virtual fields.

Adding to the excitement, renowned agricultural company Helm AG is backing as main sponsor for Farming Simulator League Season 5. Joining forces with long-term sponsors Nitrado, Noblechairs, Profi, DLG the league receives a significant boost, highlighting the growing recognition of esports within the farming community.

Coming together for FarmCon23, new teams and veteran players will kick off the first of a number of online and offline tournaments to be played during the coming months.

Farming Simulator 23 For Mobiles And Switch Released

The long-awaited Farming Simulator 23 edition for Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android mobile devices is now live. Featuring new crops, new animals, production chains and much more on two maps, the newest member of the Farming Simulator family offers many hours of family-friendly farming fun.

Farming Simulator 23, the successor to the globally acclaimed Farming Simulator 20, lets players explore farming fun on two new unique maps, Amberstone and Neubrunn, inspired by environments in the USA and Europe.

Players can use 100+ authentic vehicles and tools from world-renowned manufacturers such as Case IH, CLAAS, DEUTZ-FAHR, Fendt, John Deere, KRONE, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Valtra & many others to work the fields and tend to their animals.

New gameplay mechanics allow for various production chains, where players can produce flour from wheat to sell bread, furniture from wood, or even clothes from sheep wool! Plowing and weeds offer more new activities as additional options to cultivate the fields.

Three new crop types (grapes, olives, and sorghum) and a new animal (chickens) expand the ways players can grow their farm, whether it’s agriculture, animal husbandry, or forestry.

Farming Simulator Magazine out now!

Print is not dead! The first issue of the Farming Simulator Magazine is now available in stores across Europe. Targeting a young audience, readers will find 52 pages choc-a-bloc with news, reports, interviews, a curated collection of the best FS22 mods, as well as concise articles about machines and gaming hardware.

Localized into six languages, the Farming Simulator Magazine is hitting the shelves in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, France, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands on the 19th of April 2023.

The first edition of the Farming Simulator magazine contains a deeper look at the upcoming mobile version Farming Simulator 23, a curated list of the 25 best mods, interviews with developer Thomas Brunner, influencer Ansgar Blauth, modding team VertexDezign, fact sheets, and much more.

Players outside these territories will be able to purchase the digital version of the magazine from GIANTS Software’s eShop directly.

With the next edition already in production, plans are to release the magazine on a quarterly basis, covering all important news, the latest Farming Simulator League matches plus the latest event schedules for both the FSL and GIANTS Software.
FSL Easter Challenge @Caggtus Leipzig

The Farming Simulator League kicks off 2023 with its first “Easter Challenge” off-season event at the Caggtus Gaming Festival in Leipzig, Germany. Professional teams and amateurs have the chance to play for a whopping 15,000 Euros worth of prizes.

Caggtus is a new gaming festival in Germany. Inviting gamers, cosplayers, streamers and everyone interested in games and geek culture.

Here, at the Leipziger Messe, the Farming Simulator League has organized their first official tournament of the year. The “FSL Easter Challenge” is an off-season event inviting amateur and pro-teams like mYinsanity and Trelleborg to compete for 15,000 Euros worth of prizes.

The Caggtus Gaming Festival will be held in Leipzig, Germany, from April 14th to 16th, 2023 at the Leipziger Messe.
Announcing FarmCon 23

The date for FarmCon 23 is set! Following up on the success of last year, GIANTS Software has announced the date for their annual community event, bringing together developers and fans of the popular Farming Simulator series.

The annually held FarmCon always is one of the most anticipated events within the Farming Simulator community.

This year, GIANTS Software teamed up with DEUTZ-FAHR in Lauingen, Germany, and invites fans and modders to join the development team on July 1st and 2nd at the DEUTZ-FAHR Arena.

GIANTS and the German agricultural machinery manufacturer will be preparing a variety of panels, lectures, and activities to entertain fans and their families. Details and the full schedule will be announced in the time leading up to the event on the FarmCon website.

Welcome to our new brand partner GÖWEIL Maschinenbau GmbH. First pack of Year 2 Season Pass revealed.

For more than 30 years, the company has specialized in bale silage technology. As full-range supplier, GÖWEIL’s range of robust and durable products includes solutions for baling, wrapping, transport and unrolling.

Making their debut on March 21st, we are adding nine GÖWEIL machines with the first to Farming Simulator 22 DLC of 2023.

Farming Simulator - Past to Present: Two Talks at GDC San Francisco

What makes Farming Simulator special? A question to be answered at this year’s GDC in San Francisco. GIANTS Software was invited to giving two talks about the initial conception and design process of the Farming Simulator series, and the current production pipeline from pre-production to release.

Every year the who is who of the international game developer scene meets at the GDC in San Francisco to talk about games, exchange ideas, solve problems, and shape the future of the industry.

The conference offers a wide variety of sessions like lectures, panels, and roundtables. During the five days between March 20 to 24, 2023 attendees have the opportunity to learn from leading experts in game development and publishing.

This year GIANTS Software is invited to talk about how Farming Simulator has grown to become one of the globally most successful simulation games. Christian Ammann and Stefan Geiger are going to talk about the journey from its initial inception to the latest release featuring cross-platform multiplayer, esports capabilities, modding support and more.

In the second talk, GIANTS’ Release Coordinator Ken Burgess will cover the Farming Simulator production pipeline from pre-production to release. Ken will discuss the technicalities of how we build the game from code to finished product, how coders, artists and QA work together to get those tractors to the home screen and how the team works with the community to support user generated content on PC and consoles.

Between sessions, the GIANTS team will be available for networking at the Moscone Center, booth N2616.

Everything’s bigger in Texas – between February 28th and March 19th, we are exhibiting Farming Simulator 22 and invite guests to participate in the Bale Stacking Challenge to win cool prizes.

20 days of livestock auctions, parades, Bar-B-Que championships, music and concerts, a carnival, and much more – the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo entertains almost 2.5 million visitors each year.

Its mission is to promote agriculture by hosting an annual, family-friendly experience and provide scholarships, educational program grants to Texan youth. Taking place at the 350-acre NRG Park complex in Houston, Texas, the event gives visitors the chance to explore a huge variety of activities – like competing in Farming Simulator’s Bale Stacking Challenge.

Between Feb. 28th and March 19th, 2023 GIANTS Software will be presenting Farming Simulator 22 in Hall B, next to the Main Arena, inviting visitors to play.
Farming Simulator @ Pax East

GIANTS Software will be presenting Farming Simulator 22 at this year’s PAX East show in Boston.

From webcomic to real-life game show: Since its inception in 2004 as Penny Arcade Expo, PAX has become one of the best-known gaming shows. A community-event at heart, PAX invites players, developers and publishers from indie to AAA to meet up, talk and celebrate games.

This year, GIANTS Software will be exhibiting Farming Simulator at PAX East in Boston between March 23rd and 26th, 2023.

Part of our plans include meetups with our community friends and streaming partners. We will be announcing more details on our social media channels and the Farming Simulator website in February.
Trelleborg Wins World Championship in Farming Simulator League Season 4

The esports harvest is in: Trelleborg is the winning team in Farming Simulator League (FSL) Season 4 after a furious two days full of adrenaline-pumping baling! On the weekend of the 19th and 20th of November 2022 the top eight FSL teams met at GIANTS Software’s Erlangen studio for the FSL World Championship finals.

Congratulations to the former and new World Champion Team Trelleborg.

Farming Meets Esports
Competing for the 100,000 Euro prize pool, astragon, Bednar, DJK Ehenfeld, Lindner, mYinsanity, New Holland, Trelleborg, and Valtra met in person at GIANTS Software’s Erlangen studio.

The race to the top position was fierce all season, so when the teams met on the weekend of the 19th and 20th of November, the championship excited viewers globally across our Twitch, YouTube and Facebook streaming channels.

Trelleborg Team on Fire
After claiming five tournament victories in the fourth FSL season, as well as being the reigning team champions in the second and third season, Trelleborg was the clear favorite in the World Championship 2022. However Trelleborg’s winning streak wasn’t flawless, as New Holland and Valtra claimed victory in one round each of their Best of 5 and Best of 3 matches respectively.

Eventually, after 2 days and 16 tournament hours Trelleborg won their final match with New Holland second and Valtra in third place.

The free to download Tournament Client invites every Farming Simulator fan and esports enthusiast to register and compete in the league. The esports game mode is currently based on the PC version of Farming Simulator 19 and requires teamwork to expertly harvest wheat, produce bales and quickly deliver them to a barn. Farming Simulator 22 Reaching New Milestones

20,000 trees, a Rollercoaster and 4 million copies sold world-wide – releasing the Platinum Edition marks the next major milestone for us.

Since its release, Farming Simulator 22 players were treated with 5 content updates, several free DLCs and the externally developed Pumps N’ Hoses pack published by GIANTS Software.

The latest update added even more new, fully licensed machines and tools, bringing up the number to more than 500, all officially endorsed by their respective manufacturers. On top of this several thousand user-generated maps, machines and features found their way into the game for players to download free-of-charge.

Adding, improving and growing

GIANTS Software welcomes the latest newcomer to the Farming Simulator family: Platinum Edition.

This time we invite players to explore the dense woodlands of the American Northwest. Here, on the new Silverrun Forest map, everything revolves around forestry work.

Not only have we added 40+ new machines and tools from the likes of Volvo Group, IMPEX, John Deere, Koller, Komatsu, Pfanzelt, Schwarzmüller, and others, Platinum Edition also expands and extends existing gameplay features.

Players can now experiment with tree marking sprays, hydraulic breaking tools, yarders, winches, shipping containers, add more production facilities and even start a large community improvement project: a rideable rollercoaster.

On top of all this, our development team has improved several game systems. Log handling has been improved significantly as well as the performance of the AI helpers in the game.

According to the first reviews, Platinum Edition makes the best farming game event better.

Existing players can get the Platinum content either as Platinum Expansion DLC or as part of the Year 1 Season Pass. New players can get their Platinum Edition containing both the base game and the new content.

Every two years Paris hosts the Salon International du Machinisme Agricole (SIMA). Despite not being there ourselves, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Fergusson, Trelleborg and Valtra are presenting Farming Simulator 22 on their stands. Also New Holland has announced to sponsor the team formerly known as “Les Fermiers Flamboyants” for season five.

Supporting Cooperation Partners

One of the things we are most proud of is the huge number of brand partners represented in Farming Simulator 22.

More than 150 companies have allowed us to use their machines, tools, buildings and more for use in the game, which is a great opportunity for our partners to reach an ever-growing number of players around the world and raise awareness for their brand. As part of the cooperation, GIANTS Software offers to use Farming Simulator gaming stations at shows and events to entertain visitors and let them try out the real machines in the game. Thanks to specially tailored game installations our partners can specify the machines and tools available in the game for their promotions.

The latest such events was SIMA 2022. At the Salon International du Machinisme Agricole in Paris several of our partners have Farming Simulator 22 game stations at their stands, promoting the game and their own brand within the game.

Between 6 and 10 November 2022 visitors could try out Farming Simulator 22 at John Deere, Kubota, Massey Fergusson, Trelleborg and Valtra at their respective stands.

Targeting new markets: Farming Simulator sticker album released

More than just software – GIANTS Software has released the Landwirtschafts-Simulator sticker album on the German-speaking markets.

Fans of collectibles with a taste for heavy agriculture machinery now have the opportunity to enjoy the latest addition to the Farming Simulator family of products: GIANTS Software has released the Landwirtschafts-Simulator sticker album.

The goal is to raise brand awareness and to promote both our partners and GIANTS Software as a publisher outside the game, taking the Farming Simulator brand to a new level.

The album contains interesting background details and has room for more than 100 stickers, presenting machines from more than a dozen of Farming Simulator’s popular partner brands like – among others – Case IH, CLAAS, Deutz-Fahr, Fendt, and GRIMME.

To promote the album, a sticker pack is included in every physical German-language game box of the upcoming Platinum Edition of Farming Simulator 22.

On top of this, a base selection of eight stickers comes with the album while more sticker packs with five stickers each are available in magazine stores and at participating newsstands in the German-speaking territories.
October events: OLMA and HeroFest

GIANTS Software is attending two of the most important events in Switzerland: OLMA, the largest and most important Swiss exhibition for agriculture in St. Gallen (13-23 Oct.), and the HeroFest in Bern (14-16 Oct.).

With more than 200,000 visitors each year, OLMA, is the largest public fair promoting agriculture in Switzerland. But it’s not only all about farming machines and food courts. More than 500 exhibitors present a wide range of topics from environmental awareness to Swiss culture.

As part of the special events program in hall 9, GIANTS Software is setting up the “Farming Simulator Game Zone”. Visitors will be able to participate in the special Farming Simulator bale-stacking tournament. You can find out more on the OLMA website

OLMA is open from the 13th through to the 23rd of October 2022.

On the same weekend, you can also find GIANTS Software at the HeroFest in Bern.

GIANTS Software Publishes First Third-Party-Add-On “Pumps N’ Hoses” For Farming Simulator 22

GIANTS Software reaches another milestone in its self-publishing venture after going independent: The Pumps N’ Hoses Pack is now available for Farming Simulator 22 on PC and consoles. The add-on for the million-selling agricultural simulation was developed by Creative Mesh, with GIANTS Software taking care of publishing in cooperation with distributors to bring it to retailers in selected regions.

“We pump it up a notch with publishing the first product developed by an external studio”, comments Boris Stefan, Head of Publishing at GIANTS Software. “After successfully publishing and launching Farming Simulator 22 itself, this marks the next big step of our ambitions - engaging with, encouraging, and supporting aspiring developers.”

Introducing more industry-leading brands

Over 30 new, authentic machines, tools and other items from industry-leading manufacturers such as Schouten are represented. With Stallkamp, BvL and 2G Energy making their debut in the game, the number of brands in Farming Simulator 22 rises above 150 in total.

Umbilical systems offer a new way to fertilize fields by allowing virtual farmers to lay down and combine hundreds of meters of draggable hoses with high-pressure pumps. Manure separation and configurable biogas plants expand the gameplay even further - meaning more options for manure application and biogas plants customized to the individual farmer’s needs.

A teaser video is released alongside the announcement of the partnership and hints at the future project that will be detailed soon. The teaser video shows the new Volvo L200H High Lift wheel loader, manufactured by Volvo CE.

The wheel loader, just recently unveiled by Volvo CE, is characterized by the greatly increased lifting capacity and added power compared to its predecessor, the Volvo L180H High Lift – market-leading in the logging industry. Cologne’s exhibition halls will experience more farming than ever: For the first time in the company’s history, GIANTS Software attends the world's largest event for computer and video games not only as a developer, but as an independent publisher. The makers of Farming Simulator attend gamescom with two spacious booths from August 24th to 28th.

Inviting Gamers To Harvest Fun & Goodies

In the entertainment area, visitors can find the GIANTS Software booth in hall 7 (stand no. B41) to play Farming Simulator 22, the latest entry of the long-running and successful series - including upcoming content that is yet to be announced. With a diverse stage program, hosted by presenter Tobias Wobbe, and a variety of goodies to pick up, visiting the Farming Simulator booth will be worthwhile for all gamers and gamescom visitors.

Kubota Joins The Farming Simulator Universe

A new brand in high demand is coming to Farming Simulator: With the Kubota Pack for Farming Simulator 22, GIANTS Software introduces the multinational corporation Kubota that originated in Osaka, Japan, over 130 years ago to the globally acclaimed series. Eleven new vehicles and tools by the industry-leading brand are included in the pack.

While the Kubota Pack is digitally available world-wide, it will receive a physical boxed release on PC in selected regions such as Germany, France and the UK. The Kubota Pack releases on June 28th for Farming Simulator 22.

Featuring Kubota M8 - The Farmer’s “Office With A View”

Included in the pack is the Kubota M8, the largest tractor of the brand to date. With its spacious cab interior and an all-round view to oversee fields, the tractor promises virtual farmers the best seat in their farming “office”.

Also included are the M5, M6, and M7 series as well as a wheel loader, a skid-steer loader, and other heavy machinery by Kubota, to handle day-to-day farming tasks like loading and transporting goods with modern, versatile and powerful tools.

EU-backed Precision Farming Free DLC Released

Plenty of new features and machines, but a much lower environmental footprint: Publisher and developer GIANTS Software released the Precision Farming Free DLC for Farming Simulator 22. Initiated by John Deere and EIT Food, Europe’s leading Food Innovation Initiative, the project is co-funded by the EU and adds various new features for sustainable farming operations. It’s free to download via the official in-game ModHub on PC and consoles.

Increased Sustainability, Thanks to Smart Farming Technology
New gameplay mechanics, based on real smart farming technology, extend the aspect of realism: Including four different soil types and soil sampling, economic analysis and an environmental score to assess the eco-friendliness of farming operations - calculated by factors like reduced tillage, nitrogen levels, weed control using spot-spraying technology and others.
Crop sensors and variable-rate application of resources for yield improvement and crop care help players to save seeds, lime, fertilizer, herbicide, fuel and, in the end, money. All while reducing the environmental impact. On the Precision Farming screen, virtual farmers keep track of their actions and their effects on their environmental footprint, as well as their finances.

Publisher and developer GIANTS reports three million copies of Farming Simulator 22 sold globally within nine weeks. After garnering positive reviews from press and players, the now-released Accolades Trailer sums up the positive resonance from all over the world.

FSL World Championship: Trelleborg wins Season 3 of the Farming Simulator League

The world has a defending champion of virtual farming: Publisher and developer GIANTS Software announces Trelleborg as the winner of the Farming Simulator League World Championship. Eight teams competed for a prize pool consisting of 100,000 Euros on Sunday, 5th December, which concluded season three of the Farming Simulator League (FSL).

Thrilling finale of the season

The setup for the finals already promised a nail-biting finale: Trelleborg was the title contender of the season – with two newcomers, Valtra and Corteva Agriscience, close to their backs.

To Trelleborg's advantage, Corteva Agriscience and Valtra met directly in the first match. A surprise was provided by the wild card team LSA E-Sports, which made it to the final match without a sponsor and as another new team in the FSL. In the decisive match, Trelleborg prevailed after three rounds of victories and can now call itself World Champion.

“We are proud to have defended the title of World Champion!” said Lukas Thiemann (aka Wühler), team captain of Trelleborg. “Since the preliminary round, we have not lost a match, no matter how tough our opponents were. We gave our best and were finally rewarded with a winning streak of 11 wins and can now call ourselves the World Champion of the Farming Simulator League.”

The FSL will continue! “We congratulate team Trelleborg for this well-deserved victory and the hard-earned trophy. We saw some outstanding strategy and teamwork in the World Finals”, comments Claas Eilermann, Esports Manager at GIANTS Software after the winning team was awarded for their performance. In Season 3, Trelleborg earned 61,300 Euros as part of the overall prize pool.

“It’s hard to believe where the FSL went from the early tournaments up to crowning the victor of this spectacular third season, which has been successfully established in the world of esports”, continues Eilermann. “We are looking forward to the next season, which will be even more exciting!”

The free to download Tournament Client for Season 3 invites every Farming Simulator fan and esports enthusiast to register and compete. Farming Simulator 22, self-published by GIANTS Software for the first time in the series’ history, is already proving successful with more than 1.5 million copies being sold as the developer and publisher reports merely days after launch on November 22nd.

A fertilizer called self-publishing

As Farming Simulator 22 is now globally available on PC and consoles, the already massive fan base of Farming Simulator players is growing even bigger day by day. Thanks to self-publishing, GIANTS Software was able to streamline the communication with international distributors and extend the network itself to ensure all objectives are met.

Farms are growing bigger - just like the series

Farming Simulator 22 enhances the farming experience on every level: Seasonal farming adds (snowy) challenges, production chains more depth, new ground working mechanics more agricultural diversity, and an improved sound design more immersion.

A brand-new build mode and character creation tool promote creativity and player freedom on three distinct maps, inspired by southern France, the US-Midwest and the European Alpine region. All types of farmers will find the perfect landscape to build their farm and dive into agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry. It is their choice whether they focus on the large variety of crops or tend to cows, sheep, chicken, pigs, and horses - even bees. Thanks to cross-platform multiplayer, it’s also easier than ever to cooperate.

With over 400 authentically digitized vehicles and tools from brands like Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Valtra and many more, the fleet of agricultural machinery grows, too. New machine categories allow farmers to create lush vineyards and olive orchards. Grapes, olives and sorghum are added to the range of crops.

And new crops, too – developer and publisher GIANTS Software have revealed grapes and two more crops in addition to the release date, regional pack shots and an atmospheric Cinematic Trailer showcasing the next generation of farmers in action. Farming Simulator 22 will release on November 22nd for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Stadia.

Ready to harvest: grapes, olives and sorghum

Virtual farmers can now plant and harvest grapes to produce delicious juice and olives to produce high-quality olive oil – thanks to the new production chains feature. Sorghum, a new type of grain, has been added to the range of arable crops. With the new crops, comes the need for new types of machines. The New Holland Braud 9070L grape harvester is one of the new additions to the fleet of new machines in Farming Simulator 22.

Inspiring CGI trailer shows family business

As new generations of farmers follow in the footsteps of previous generations in real-life or through playing Farming Simulator, the cinematic trailer shows a father and daughter working the field together, battling the snow, and enjoying the rewarding victory of harvested grapes. The emotional story also reveals Mack Trucks as a new in-game brand, and shows the iconic Super-Liner in action. Self-published Farming Simulator 22 will be more widely available in more regions and to more players than ever before, inviting new generations to learn about agriculture, letting crops and the good times grow together in multiplayer.

Depending on the region, the cover depicts a Case IH AFS Connect Magnum, Fendt 900 Vario, Massey Ferguson MF 8S or Zetor Crystal. FarmCon 21 announced: GIANTS Software presents Farming Simulator 22

Farming Simulator 22 will be the main theme of this year’s FarmCon: The online event by publisher and developer GIANTS Software will be streamed from July 21st to July 23rd on the company’s official Twitch channel and provide a variety of insights into the game and its technology. Everyone is invited to watch the free stream and take an in-depth look at the new installment of the series coming in Q4 this year.

Farming Simulator 22 behind the scenes

Farming Simulator 22 will include various new gameplay features and technical improvements to be presented at FarmCon 21. Viewers will learn more about the addition of seasonal cycles, new maps, general improvements as well as a multitude of other additions to be announced during the three-day online event.

Interviews with developers and partners, raffles, Q&As and more will be broadcasted several hours over the course of three days. Additionally, fans will have the chance to chat with the developers directly in special Discord channels for the event.

Farming Simulator 22 will come to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Mac and Stadia in Q4 2021. The game will not only be developed by GIANTS Software – but published, too. The international, Swiss-based company is raising the quality by full self-determination.

Once again, the family-friendly game series takes a leap forward. With new features and improvements, Farming Simulator 22 will allow every aspiring farmer to creatively build their farm – no matter the age or real-life profession. Either on their own, or cooperatively in multiplayer for up to 8 players on consoles and 16 on PC, Mac and Stadia.

New crops, new maps, new machines and new brands are just the beginning of what players can expect. And on top of that, it’s getting snowy, too: Players should prepare for the exciting addition of seasonal cycles – as well as other features to be announced soon! A CGI reveal teaser trailer offers a small glimpse of the new game to come.

Pushing snow - and the depths of simulated farming!

Farming Simulator 22 will offer more depth thanks to a variety of new additions and therefore the highest extent of player freedom in the history of the series. Two new maps plus an updated alpine Erlengrat map will put emphasis on different kinds of farming operations through the seasons.

With a set of more than 400 machines and tools from more than 100 authentic agricultural brands including new categories, players can look forward to an improved and realistic-as-ever simulation. But even for new players, it will be easy to dive into agriculture, animal husbandry (including cuter animals) and forestry.

Precision Farming coming to Farming Simulator: A project by EIT Food and John Deere

Initiated by John Deere and funded by EIT Food, Europe’s leading Food Innovation Initiative, Precision Farming (aka Smart Farming) will be introduced to the Farming Simulator series. The “Precision Farming Project” is set to take place over a span of two years and involves various EU partners.

The goal of the EU funded project is to change the public image about modern and sustainable farming by increasing transparency and trust in the modern agriculture and the technology used. Modern Precision Farming technologies will be implemented in Farming Simulator as one of multiple efforts to raise awareness for sustainable farming in the general public.

Planned as a free game module for Farming Simulator, Precision Farming will be introduced through various new gameplay features like heterogeneous fields with regards to soil types. More features are planned to follow after precise, academic and scientific evaluation by the involved parties.

FarmCon 20 goes digital with open Live Stream

FarmCon 20 switches from the event location at the DEUTZ-FAHR Arena to an open Live Stream. GIANTS Software has decided to go digital with this year’s FarmCon to ensure the safety of fans, partners and employees amidst the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Sold tickets will be refunded and the program will be translated to a format suitable for streaming. FarmCon at DEUTZ-FAHR is still planned for next year like initially planned. This year, fans around the globe can expect an open Live Stream on Sunday, July 19th instead. The Farming Simulator League finals will be delayed - more info coming soon.

That’s right, the makers of the world wide acclaimed Farming Simulator series will expand overseas to the third most-populous city in the United States. It will be home to a new team of GIANTS - with job openings in Event Management, Community Management and Customer Support. Focus of our Chicago office lies on strengthening the contact to the constantly growing player base of Farming Simulator on the North- and South American continents.

GIANTS Software, creator of the well-known Farming Simulator Series, and Logitech G, the iconic gaming brand of Logitech, are excited to announce that the two companies are collaborating to enhance the Farming Simulator experience in 2019. In 2019, GIANTS Software plans to build on the successful format of the first season of the Farming Simulator Championship by starting the second season. More details on GIANTS Software's esports plans for 2019 will follow in the coming weeks.

The last Farming Simulator Championship of the season will take place from the 12th of October until the 14th of October 2018 in Bern, Switzerland at the HeroFest convention, Hall 3.0 booth C20. The winners will get VIP Tickets for our big community event, FarmCon 18 (accommodation and transportation included). It is not too late to participate. GIANTS Software expands moves to larger offices and opens new studio

We are glad to announce our plans for further expansion by moving to bigger office spaces for our two existing studios and opening a new studio in Brno, Czech Republic. We’re preparing for new hires with an expanded office in Erlangen, Germany towards the end of 2018 while the Swiss headquarter in Zurich will move to an exciting and larger office already in May in addition to the newly opened studio in Brno, Czech Republic.
